The Aircraft Building

/ / The Aircraft Building

This is your ultimate test where you have to build an ultra-secret aircraft to go on your mission. As you face limited resources and persistent time pressure, you must work together to overcome obstacles.

Your final adventure is an outdoor quest of epic proportions: the Aircraft Building project. Armed with nothing but your wits and determination, you and your team will design an aircraft capable of performing an ultra-secret mission. In a race against the clock, you will use your collective strengths to bring your vision to life.

The materials for building the aircraft will be purchased at the bazaar that we will organize at the same location for all participants.

Each team will be able to select the materials that they believe are most suitable for building the most efficient aircraft. This experience has a very significant detail: some materials are limited, and some teams hold exclusive rights over resources that are vital for all participants.

When the plane is completed, each team will designate a pilot who will launch it, and the plane must fly autonomously over a distance of at least 10 meters. A typical aircraft measures at least 1.5m (length/wingspan) and sometimes exceeds 2 meters in size.

This experience challenges quick decisions, analytical/creative thinking, adaptability to the unexpected, setting clear roles in the team, and critical moments during the process.

What Do Participants Learn:

  • To plan based on objectives;
  • To realize the interdependence between departments and understand what involves common effort in achieving results;
  • To negotiate considering the purpose/objective, not the emotion of the moment;
  • To find ways to attract resources;
  • To establish clear roles in the team and delegate;
  • To become more productive and creative;
  • To focus on finding win-win solutions.
